Hussam Alturki

I translate complex systems for people who fall between the cracks — in three languages, in real time.

Support operations · Multilingual systems · AI-assisted workflows. I find what's actually broken — not just what gets reported.

About

Hussam Alturki
Augsburg, DE AR · DE · EN

I came to Germany without knowing how it works here. I learned — the hard way, through bureaucracy, language barriers, and a system that assumes you already know the rules. That experience is now one of my most useful tools.

Today I work at Concentrix handling Meta Platform escalations — complex cases, CRM documentation, quality standards under pressure. I've also done field sales at Vodafone, front desk at a hotel in three languages, and freelance IT support. The thread across all of it: I find what's actually broken, not just what gets reported — and I communicate the fix clearly.

On the side: I build browser-based learning games for Arabic speakers navigating German life. I run structured stress-tests on LLMs to understand where they actually fail. I help people in my community with housing searches, job applications, and Behörden appointments. I applied for a Team Lead position at Concentrix — not because I had to, but because I wanted to make the team around me better.

I don't have a clean career narrative yet. What I have is a very specific skill set at a very unusual intersection — and I'm building toward something with it.

Selected Work

A mix of shipped client work and real internal workflows — labeled honestly, including the one currently on hold.

Aleppo Pistazien — Bilingual Café Website

Client Project (Live) View Live Project →
aleppo-pistazien.de homepage in German and Arabic
Problem
A Syrian confectionery in Augsburg serving two language communities — German and Arabic — with no web presence of its own. The same questions arrived daily: hours, assortment, catering, halal.
Action
Benchmarked local café sites, wrote a structured client brief, then built a fully bilingual DE/AR site — every element mirrored, RTL included — as a static site on Cloudflare Pages with Decap CMS integrated, so the shop manager adds and updates the assortment themselves — content lives in the repo, no database to run. Ordering deliberately runs through WhatsApp instead of a webshop, because that's where the customers already are. Legal pages, allergen disclosure, and a click-to-load map keep it DSGVO-clean.
Result
Live at aleppo-pistazien.de: assortment, gallery, custom cakes, structured catering requests, FAQ — and the café's 4.8-star Google reputation, findable in both of its customers' languages. Built solo, AI-assisted, from brief to deployment.

Escape from Berlin

Educational Game (Live) View Live Project →
Escape from Berlin key art — bilingual quiz interface over the Berlin skyline
Problem
Arabic-speaking learners of German lack context-relevant practice tools. Standard apps don't simulate real German bureaucratic and daily-life scenarios.
Action
Built a multilingual browser game in HTML/CSS/JS with three progressive difficulty levels, multiple game modes, and competitive multi-team format. Full RTL/LTR layout switching, responsive design, deployed on GitHub Pages.
Result
A functional, shareable educational tool demonstrating cross-domain skills: language pedagogy, frontend development, UX thinking, and deployment workflow.

Template System & KPI Automation

Support Ops (Real)
Google Sheets dashboard showing color-coded template system
Problem
In high-volume live chat, agents waste time scrolling through long template lists. Every search second compounds across dozens of daily interactions. KPI tracking required manual calculation with no forward visibility.
Action
Built a structured Google Sheets dashboard — color-coded by conversation phase, tagged by situation type, everything on one screen. Built a personal KPI tracker that auto-calculates daily metrics and projects performance against targets. Deliberately developed a distinct written style for a recognizable customer experience.
Result
Faster response times. Consistent quality across interaction phases. Proactive performance management. A measurable personal fingerprint across case documentation.

Lilygraphy — Photography Portfolio

Client Project (On Hold) View Live Project →
Lilygraphy homepage — hand-painted flamingo shirt hero
Problem
A photographer's portfolio has one job: get out of the way. Most template sites bury the images under effects, sliders, and branding noise.
Action
Client brief, art direction, then an image-first build with Sanity Studio as the content backend, so galleries and images are managed without a developer. Generous whitespace, restrained typography, fast loads — deployed to a Cloudflare Pages preview environment for review.
Result
The site runs on its preview URL; the domain launch is currently on hold. It stays in my portfolio deliberately — real client work includes projects that pause, and the design decisions hold up either way.

Housing Survival

Housing Module (Live) View Live Project →
Wohnungsnot — A2 Survival key art with German rental documents
Problem
Arabic-speaking newcomers face a steep learning curve in the German rental market — Schufa, Mietvertrag, Selbstauskunft, landlord expectations. Existing resources are text-heavy and passive.
Action
Standalone game module simulating real housing search scenarios — players make decisions, encounter typical landlord responses, learn the correct sequence through consequence-based gameplay. Integrated into the same bilingual RTL/LTR framework.
Result
Practical gamified tool for one of the most common pain points for Arabic speakers in Germany. Translates bureaucratic domain knowledge into structured interactive experience.

What I believe

Most support failures are documentation failures.

The problem was solved once — it just wasn't written down well enough to solve it again.

Language is not just communication. It's access.

If you can't navigate a system in its language, you don't have access to it — regardless of your rights on paper.

AI tools are only as good as the person using them.

I've tested enough models to know: the bottleneck is almost never the model. It's the prompt, the context, the judgment.

The best support agent isn't always the fastest one.

The agent who builds the template that makes everyone faster — that's a different kind of value.

How I work

Support Operations & Documentation

I design systems that make support scalable — not just functional. From CRM workflows and response templates to KPI tracking and SOP documentation, I build the layer between people and platforms that keeps quality consistent.

In practice

At Concentrix: built a template dashboard and personal KPI tracker that cut search time and made performance management proactive instead of reactive.

Multilingual UX & Content

I don't just translate words — I translate contexts. Building tools for Arabic speakers navigating German bureaucracy taught me that language is structure, and structure needs to be rebuilt for each culture, not just relabeled.

In practice

Built 'Escape from Berlin' and 'Housing Survival' — browser games teaching German bureaucratic processes to Arabic speakers, with full RTL/LTR switching.

AI Workflow Integration

I stress-test AI tools against real professional edge cases — multilingual context switching, culturally nuanced instructions, conflicting prompts. Then I build workflows that use AI where it actually helps and document where it doesn't.

In practice

Ran systematic comparative tests across Claude, GPT, Gemini, Kimi, and Qwen on Islamic jurisprudential reasoning and Arabic/German language edge cases. Published findings on LinkedIn.
